Fed-Ex delivers a pearl of wisdom.

This is a quickie …

You could probably call it a Fed-Ex Express delivery.

I was compelled to post something after hearing Alan Greenspan’s latest wisdom of financial management. The topic on NBC’s Meet the Press was the U.S debt and the downgrading of U.S Treasury Bonds from a triple-A rating.

Greenspan, the former Chairman of the Federal Reserve, or as I like to affectionately refer to him, the Fed-Ex [who one would hope had some fiscal nouse …] delivered these invaluable pearls of wisdom;

“The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that. So there is zero probability of default.”

If one needs to ask how the U.S got to the levels of debt it currently enjoys, one only needs to look at the thinking of the man who ran the Fed for 19 years.
